Remodeling Ocean Aquarium Exhibits & Life Support System Overhaul

Aqualife was awarded to re-design the aquarium pathway of the visitors and create a story. The scope of work had to be met in a tight timeframe and budget. The overhaul was completed in just 90 days. We provided an innovative story that would travel the guest from the Amazon fresh waters to the pristine tropical marine oxbows of the IndoPacific. Aqualife managed to prolong the average visitor stay by 40% and enhanced the experience by pointing out the interesting and unique exhibits. All exhibits were upgraded by new wet decorative to match the biotopic surrounding ranging from Sumatra rivers to Caribbean reefs.

Moreover, since there are over 15 years this commercial facility was established, its Life Support System and rest of MEP needed immediate attention. Aqualife engineered the existing LSS to be 50% more efficient by cutting down the electrical requirements and by re-designing the organic waste treatment. This resulted in better quality water for the exhibits and significant lower operational costs.
